The whole exterior. Done once.

Full-property repaints, roof painting and spraying, roof waterproofing and renovations for homes across Pretoria and Centurion. We take on whole properties, not touch-ups — because a house painted in pieces never quite matches again.

We do the work on your home. We are applicators, not suppliers — we do not sell materials.

The specification

Where the ten years actually comes from.

Two houses painted the same week can look identical and be five years apart in lifespan. The difference is never the tin — it is what happened before the first coat went on. This is what we quote.

01 Survey and colour We measure, check what is on the walls now and test whether it is sound. Colour selection done properly, with samples on your wall in your light. on-site samples
02 Wash and preparation High-pressure wash, scrape back everything loose, fungicidal treatment on the shaded southern elevations where mould always sits. 2 500–3 000 psi
03 Crack repair and plaster Cracks routed out and filled flexible, damaged plaster cut back and made good. Painting over a crack hides it for one season. flexible filler
04 Primer Plaster primer on bare areas, bonding liquid where the old paint has gone chalky and powders off on your hand. Skipping this is the single most common reason a repaint peels. 1 coat
05 Two full topcoats Applied at the manufacturer's spread rate, not stretched. Trims, fascias, gutters and garage doors cut in by hand. 8–10 m²/L
06 Clean up and walk-through Site cleared, landscaping cleaned off, and we walk the property with you before the last van leaves. Guarantee issued in writing. 5 yr

Surfaces & systems

What we do on a house, and what goes on it.

Most home roofs do not need replacing. They need the right system on a properly prepared surface — which is a very different job from the one a handyman quotes with a tin from the hardware store.

Concrete & flat roofs

Torch-on membrane

Torch-on APP modified bitumen over a primed and prepared slab, fleece through every overlap and upstand. The standard flat roof waterproofing system, and the one that lasts when it is laid properly.

Tile & metal roofs

Liquid rubber systems

The systems most people call liquid rubber — Laykold acrylic and bitumen-based membranes, reinforced over the ridges, valleys and every fastener, then finished with a reflective topcoat against the Highveld sun.

Exterior repaints

Plascon & Dulux

Washed down, cracks cut out and repaired, primed where the wall calls for it, then a specified two-coat system. The preparation is most of the job and most of the reason it lasts.

Where it gets in

Gutters, valleys & parapets

A surprising number of leaks that look like roof failures are actually a blocked valley or a failed parapet detail. Usually the cheapest thing on the house to put right.

Below ground

Basement & retaining wall tanking

Water pushing in from outside is a different problem from water sitting on top, and it is specified differently — against the water table and what the structure allows.

Honest answers

When a coating won’t save it

If the sheet is gone, no coating will bring it back. We will say so at the assessment rather than sell you a system that buys eighteen months and then fails.

We are applicators, not suppliers — we install these systems on your home, we do not sell the materials on their own. We install Darachem and Laykold waterproofing systems and Plascon and Dulux coatings, to each manufacturer’s specification. Which one goes on your roof is decided once we have been up there and looked at it.

Scope

What we take on, and what we pass on.

We are a contracting business, not a handyman service. That is worth knowing before you spend time on a call with us.

Work we take on

  • Full exterior repaints, single and double storey
  • Tile and IBR roof painting and spraying
  • Roof waterproofing and re-waterproofing
  • Balcony, terrace and patio waterproofing
  • Boundary walls, garages and outbuildings
  • Plaster repairs and crack remediation
  • Rising damp and damp proofing
  • Whole-house interior repaints
  • Specialty finishes, textures and decorative coatings
  • Extensions, renovations and structural alterations

Work we pass on

  • Single rooms and touch-ups
  • Handyman work — broken windows, taps, doors
  • Supply-only paint orders
  • Plumbing, electrical and geyser work
  • Properties outside Gauteng

Paint in winter, waterproof before October.

The dry months are the right months. Low humidity means proper curing, and getting the roof done before the summer storms start is the difference between a repair and a ceiling replacement.

How it runs

From first call to final walk-through.

Consultation

A conversation about the property, what is bothering you about it, your budget and when you would like it done.

Site visit

Antoni comes out, measures, gets onto the roof if that is part of it, and tells you what actually needs doing — including the parts you did not ask about and the parts you can safely leave.

Written quote

Itemised by area and element so you can see what each part costs, with the coating system, programme and guarantee stated. Within 24–48 hours of the visit.

The work

Licensed, insured tradespeople. Furniture and landscaping protected, the same team on site from start to finish, and the property left clean at the end of every day.

Walk-through and guarantee

We walk the whole property with you, fix anything you are not happy with, and issue the written guarantee before we invoice the final amount.

Who is on site

The same team, start to finish

Not a rotating crew. Licensed, insured tradespeople who keep the site clean and organised — which matters when the site is your home and your family is living in it.

Estates

Used to estate protocols

Contractor registration, access control, working-hour restrictions and noise rules are routine for us. We handle the paperwork with the HOA rather than leaving it with you.

Standards

Commercial discipline on a house

The same specification, safety file and sign-off process we run on multi-campus commercial contracts, applied to a single property. It is why the guarantee is worth something.

Before you ask

Questions homeowners ask us.

How long does a full exterior take?

A typical single-storey home is one to two weeks; a large double-storey with a roof included runs two to four. Weather moves it — we will not paint onto a damp wall or ahead of a storm, and the programme allows for that rather than pretending it will not happen.

Do you work in security estates?

Regularly. We handle contractor registration, provide the documentation the HOA requires, and work within estate hours and noise restrictions. Tell us which estate when you enquire and we will confirm what they need from us.

What about my garden and furniture?

Beds and paving are sheeted, outdoor furniture is moved and covered, and we wash down at the end. Landscaping damage on a repaint is avoidable — it comes from rushing the setup.

Can you help with colour?

Yes. We put sample patches on your actual walls so you can see them in morning and afternoon light before committing. Colour looks entirely different on a north-facing wall in Gauteng sun than it does on a chart indoors.

Do I need to be there?

For the site visit and the final walk-through, ideally. In between, no — we work with clients who are at the office all day. Access is arranged upfront and the site is secured each evening.
